Hi, my name is Moekie. I'm a beautiful girl. I came to the shelter when my person (and best friend) passed away. I'm sad now but my kitty roommates told me that people come here looking for a friend to take home. I could be a good friend. I'm young at heart but they call me a senior kitty and because of my age, I'm covered by the Perpet-U-Care Program which will pay for a portion of my health care for the rest of my life. That's a pretty cool program and I'm definitely worth it. I'm a real sweetie and I love to have my head rubbed. If you are gentle, I may even let you rub my tummy a little bit. My purr is real loud and I use it a lot. I also like to talk a lot, so I hope you like to listen. Let's sit a bit and maybe you'll brush my soft fur and I'll tell you all about me.
